Morning light had just reached the treetops along the river in Grand Teton when this bald eagle settled on the top of a pine, watching the water below. From this perch it stayed still for several minutes, scanning the current for movement. Not long after, it left the branch and dropped toward the river, returning with a fish and disappearing again beyond the trees.
