Payment Options
Payments are processed through PayPal via invoice. Credit and debit cards are accepted through this process. Bank transfer is also available for clients with Mexican bank accounts.
Pricing Policy
Prices for expeditions may vary depending on availability, booking timing, and currency exchange rates. Early reservations generally secure the lowest price. As the expedition date approaches or remaining spots become limited, prices may increase. Once a booking is confirmed and the deposit is received, the agreed price is locked and will not change.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
Reservation and DepositTo reserve your place on a Wildist expedition or workshop, a 30% deposit of the total trip price is required at the time of booking.
Your place on the expedition is confirmed once the deposit has been received.
Deposits are non-refundable, as they allow us to secure accommodations, guides, permits, and other logistical arrangements required to operate the expedition.
Final Payment
The remaining balance is due 90 days before the start of the expedition.
If the remaining balance is not received by this date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and offer the place to another participant.
Participant Cancellation
If you need to cancel your participation, the following conditions apply:
More than 90 days before the expedition
You will receive a refund of all payments made, excluding the deposit.
90 days or less before the expedition
Payments are non-refundable.
These policies reflect the commitments and reservations we must make in advance to operate the expedition.
Transferring Your Spot
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another participant, provided we are notified in advance and the replacement meets the expedition requirements.
We will assist in facilitating the transfer whenever possible.
Minimum Participants
Our expeditions require a minimum number of participants to operate.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, The Wildist reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the expedition. In this case, all payments made will be fully refunded.
Expedition Changes or Cancellation by The Wildist
Expeditions take place in remote environments where weather and other natural factors can affect plans.
The Wildist reserves the right to modify itineraries, locations, or schedules when necessary to ensure the safety of participants or the success of the expedition.
If an expedition must be cancelled by The Wildist for operational reasons, participants will receive a full refund of payments made.
A Note on Planning Expeditions
Wildlife and outdoor photography expeditions require extensive planning and logistical commitments long before the trip begins. These policies allow us to secure locations, guides, transportation, and accommodations while keeping group sizes small and experiences focused.
